Course summary

A two day fully hands on anterior/posterior resin masterclass with Jason Smithson. Pre course theory by way of webinars that can be watched at your leisure before the course. The whole event, including webinars, will qualify for 44 hours vCPD. The hands-on element comprises of 14 hours vCPD as well as being awarded 4 sessions of CPD allowance (up to £920 can be claimed).

The hands-on element will include:

The class IV restoration

Full resin veneer on a discoloured tooth

The class I restoration

The class II restoration and sectional matrix placement

Finishing and polishing protocols to produce long-lasting and highly aesthetic restorations.

Restoration of a class 1 and class 2 restorations to include: preparation protocols, matrix selection, bonding parameters, simplified layering, finishing and polishing.

Restoration of an upper central incisor with a resin veneer using a putty stent and the natural layering technique and restoration of an upper central incisor with a direct resin veneer on a discoloured tooth. There will be a big emphasis on finishing and polishing techniques to allow delegates the tools to create highly aesthetic and long lasting restorations in practice.
